Description of current research
My current research focuses on clinical investigations within the field of Dental and Maxillofacial Radiology and also concentrates on age estimation using radiographic data. In the realm of Dental and Maxillofacial Radiology, I am engaged in empirical studies and data collection, utilizing radiographic techniques to examine dental and craniofacial features. These clinical investigations involve the systematic analysis of dental and maxillofacial radiographs, such as panoramic images, cone-beam computed tomography, and dental records, to derive insights for initial diagnosis purposes. Age estimation aims to refine and enhance existing methods and criteria used in clinical dental practice. By leveraging radiographic data, I contribute to the development of accurate age estimation tools. My research may involve the identification of specific dental and craniofacial markers that change with age, thus improving the precision of age assessments. Ultimately, my clinical research in this field plays a vital role in supporting forensic, legal, and clinical applications, with the potential to enhance the accuracy of age determination in individuals based on dental radiography.
