ภาควิชาทันตกรรมวินิจฉัย เป็นหนึ่งในห้าภาควิชาหลักของคณะทันตแพทยศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยนเรศวร ภายในภาควิชาประกอบด้วย สาขาวิชาเวชศาสตร์ช่องปาก สาขาวิชารังสีวิทยาช่องปากและใบหน้า และสาขาพยาธิวิทยาช่องปาก มีบทบาทในการจัดการเรียนการสอนทั้งในระดับทันตแพทยศาสตร์บัณฑิตและระดับหลังปริญญา เพื่อให้ผู้เรียนได้มีความรู้และทักษะผ่านการบูรณาการองค์ความรู้จากทั้งสามสาขารวมทั้งการศึกษาวิจัยในๆฟหัวข้อที่เกี่ยวข้อง นอกจากนี้ ภาควิชาทันตกรรมวินิจฉัยยังให้บริการแก่ผู้ป่วยในคลินิกวินิจฉัยโรคและเวชศาสตร์ช่องปาก คลินิกรังสีวิทยาช่องปากและใบหน้า และหน่วยทันตพยาธิวินิจฉัย เพื่อให้ผู้ป่วยได้รับการตรวจพิเคราะห์โรคอย่างถูกต้องและครอบคลุมผ่านองค์ความรู้พื้นฐานและการประยุกต์ใช้เทคโนโลยีที่ทันสมัยอย่างมีประสิทธิภาพ จัดเป็นศูนย์การในการรักษาและรับส่งต่อผู้ป่วยที่สำคัญแห่งหนึ่งของประเทศและภูมิภาคใกล้เคียง

The Department of Oral Diagnosis stands as one of the five primary departments within the Faculty of Dentistry at Naresuan University. Comprising three specialized branches—Oral Medicine, Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology, and Oral Pathology—our department plays a crucial role in both undergraduate and postgraduate education. We seamlessly integrate knowledge from all three branches while also taking the lead in research on pertinent topics. Beyond education, our department extends its expertise to community services, providing excellent patient care through the Oral Diagnosis and Oral Medicine Clinic, Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology Clinic, and Oral Diagnostic Pathology Unit. These facilities ensure accurate and comprehensive disease analysis by leveraging foundational knowledge and modern technology. Recognized as a key center for patient management and referral in Thailand and nearby regions, the department stands at the forefront of oral healthcare excellence.

การวิจัยที่ภาควิชาทันตกรรมวินิจฉัยมีความหลากหลายหัวข้อและมีความครอบคลุมวิทยาการวินิจฉัยโรคและการดูแลผู้ป่วย เช่น โรคในช่องปาก ใบหน้าและกระดูกขากรรไกร กระบวนการอักเสบ การหายของแผล มะเร็งช่องปากที่เน้นด้านจุลพยาธิวิทยาและด้านชีวโมเลกุล การปรับปรุงเทคนิคการถ่ายภาพรังสีและการปรับปรุงภาพถ่ายรังสีเพื่อใช้ในการวินิจฉัยโรค เป็นต้น ภาควิชามีความร่วมมือในการทำวิจัยกับหน่วยงานอื่นๆ ทั้งภายในประเทศและต่างประเทศ

The Department of Oral Diagnosis conducts a broad spectrum of research, covering the science of diagnosis and patient care. The research field encompasses diseases affecting the oral cavity, face, and jawbones, inflammatory processes, wound healing mechanisms, and oral cancer, with a specific emphasis on histopathology and molecular biology aspects. Additionally, our focus extends to the study of oral and maxillofacial radiography, with the goal of improving diagnostic capabilities through the enhancement of radiographic techniques and the refinement of radiographic images. Moreover, we actively collaborate with both national and international institutes to propel our research endeavors forward.

ภาควิชาทันตกรรมวินิจฉัยมีหน้าที่ในการจัดการเรียนการสอนทั้งในระดับก่อนปริญญาและหลังปริญญา คณาจารย์ของภาควิชามีบทบาทในการเรียนการสอนในภาควิชาต่างของคณทันตแพทยศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยนเรศวร และต่างมหาวิทยาลัย นอกจากนี้ ภาควิชายังมีการเรียนการสอนในรูปแบบการศึกษาต่อเนื่องสำหรับทันตแพทย์ที่ต้องการเพิ่มพูนความรู้และประสบการณ์ โดยเนื้อหาจะมุ่งเน้นการตรวจและวินิจฉัยโรค การจัดการและการรักษาผู้ป่วย รวมไปถึงการตรวจคัดกรองมะเร็งช่องปาก

The Department of Oral Diagnosis is responsible for both undergraduate and postgraduate teaching. Our staff contribute to comprehensive dental education at the Faculty of Dentistry, Naresuan University, and other universities. Additionally, the department provides continuing education courses designed to enhance the knowledge and experience of dentists and oral healthcare providers. These courses focus on various aspects, including oral examination and diagnosis, patient management and treatment, as well as oral cancer screening.

ภาควิชาทันตกรรมวินิจฉัยมีส่วนสำคัญในการผลิตทันตแพทยศาสตร์บัณฑิตให้มีองค์ความรู้ที่ครบถ้วนทั้งด้านเวชศาสตร์ช่องปาก รังสีวิทยาช่องปากและใบหน้า พยาธิวิทยาช่องปาก และครอบคลุมเนื้อหาตามเกณฑ์ข้อกำหนดหลักสูตรทันตแพทยศาสตร์บัณฑิตของทันตแพทยสภา กิจกรรมการเรียนการสอนภาคทฤษฎีเริ่มในชั้นปีที่ 3 เทอมปลายจนถึงชั้นปีที่ 5 เทอมปลาย และการเรียนการสอนภาคปฏิบัติผ่านการฝึกปฏิบัติในผู้ป่วยในชั้นปีที่ 4 เทอมปลาย และชั้นปีที่ 5 ภายใต้การควบคุมของผู้เชี่ยวชาญ และวิชาเลือกเสรีในชั้นปีที่ 6 สำหรับผู้ที่มีความสนใจในการตรวจและรักษาผู้ป่วยที่มีความยากและซับซ้อนด้านเวชศาสตร์ช่องปาก รังสีวิทยาใบหน้าและช่องปาก และพยาธิวิทยาช่องปาก

Our department plays a crucial role in the teaching of the Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) program, providing comprehensive knowledge. The curriculum encompasses Oral Medicine, Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology, and Oral Pathology, aligning with the requirements of the Dental Council of Thailand. Didactic lectures commence in the second semester of the third year and continue until the second semester of the fifth year. Clinical practice begins in the second semester of the fourth year and extends into the fifth year under the faculty’s supervision. Additionally, we offer elective courses for the sixth-year students who are interested in examining and treating patients with complex issues in Oral Medicine, Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology, and Oral Pathology.

การเรียนการสอนในระดับวิทยาศาสตร์มหาบัณฑิต สาขาวิทยาการวินิจฉัยโรคช่องปากมีความโดดเด่น ผู้เรียนจะได้พัฒนาศักยภาพในการตรวจวินิจฉัย การวางแผนการรักษา และให้การรักษาในผู้ป่วยเวชศาสตร์ช่องปากและผู้ป่วยที่มีข้อจำกัดทางด้านการแพทย์ ผ่านการบูรณาการความรู้จากหลากหลายแขนงทั้งด้านแพทยศาสตร์ ทันตแพทยศาสตร์ และเภสัชศาสตร์ เป็นต้น ผู้เรียนจะได้ฝึกปฏิบัติงานทั้งในคลินิกวินิจฉัยโรคและเวชศาสตร์ช่องปาก คลินิกรังสีวิทยาใบหน้าและช่องปาก หน่วยทันตพยาธิวินิจฉัย รวมทั้งศึกษาดูงานในคลินิกอายุรกรรมโรคผิวหนังและคลินิกศัลยกรรมระบบประสาท โรงพยาบาลมหาวิทยาลัยนเรศวร คณะแพทยศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยนเรศวร อีกทั้งผู้เรียนยังมีส่วนร่วมในการศึกษาวิจัยร่วมกับคณาจารย์ในและนอกภาควิชา

The postgraduate program in Oral Diagnostic Sciences at the Department of Oral Diagnosis stands out with a unique curriculum. It provides students with the opportunity to develop skills in diagnosis, treatment planning, and patient care through an integrated approach, incorporating knowledge from diverse fields, including medicine, dentistry, and pharmacy. Practical experience is a cornerstone of our program. Students undergo intensive clinical training in the Oral Diagnosis and Oral Medicine Clinic, Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology Clinic, and Oral Pathology Diagnostic Unit. Additionally, they participate in clinical rotations at the Internal Medicine, Dermatology, and Neurosurgery Clinics at the University Hospital, Faculty of Medicine, Naresuan University. Moreover, our program offers students opportunities to engage in research projects with faculty members, further enriching their academic experience
